Some adapters will allow you to take your wired controllers over to wireless signals, which can be useful if you’re trying to connect to a Nintendo Switch in particular.
Be sure to read the fine print when it comes to controller compatibility. Just because you can plug in the controller doesn’t mean it’s going to work, especially when you’re trying to connect newer versions of older controllers.
